TARGET AUDIENCE OF UPCOMING RESEARCH

Individuals who identify themselves as Women, Transgender, Non-Binary, Genderqueer or Agender and currently working in NZ Tech Sector as Engineers, Developers, Solution Architects, Platform Administrators, Application Administrators, Tech Leads, Delivery Managers, or Product Managers.

Explore the perspectives and experiences of under-represented gender working in the Tech industry in New Zealand.
Identify potential barriers and challenges they encounter.
Investigate their views on whether organisations are adequately promoting gender diversity and inclusion.
Examine their perspectives on career progression within the Tech sector.

ABOUT THE RESEARCH

Our study aims to gauge the extent of gender under-representation in technology teams and understand the perceptions of those belonging to under-represented genders within these teams. By gathering data directly from individuals working in technology roles, we seek to identify key challenges, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
